The Fishing Museum in Niechorze
The Sea Fishing Museum in Niechorze was founded by the initiative of local people gathered around the main originator, a former fisherman Henryk Gmyrk.
The principal objective of the museum is to promote the knowledge about the local fishing culture, both among the many tourists visiting the Rewal Commune and among local residents.
The exhibition includes many showpieces originating from the maritime collections of the Primary School in Niechorze as well as from deposits and donations. They include fishing tools, boats, fish specimens, documents and photos related to sea and lake fishery.
